From Andalusia, birthplace of Flamenco, “Tierra Bendita” arrives at the Teatro a Mil International Festival 2025, a piece that travels through the picturesque corners of this region located in the south of Spain, in addition to its most representative songs and dances. A work that is situated between tradition and modernity, mixing the scene of the 18th century with contemporary art.
“Tierra Bendita” offers a flamenco world without reservations or shame, which values the new generations of creators by undressing the artist in front of the public. Staged by the Andalusian Flamenco Ballet, under the direction of Patricia Guerrero - National Dance Award in Spain 2021 -, the piece is a meticulous work full of nuances, which changes the structures, but respects the form, without the yoke to none of the disciplines exposed and works in such a way that each and every one of the parts can stand independently on their own.
