Hispano-Chilean Company of Visual and Object Theater, which has developed a surprising and suggestive language around materiality, objects and their scenic relationship with the body and gesture. La Llave Maestra combines elements of object theater, masks, clown and movement to create poetic and playful shows that develop on stage imaginary, surprising and surreal universes that make the audience travel creatively and connect them with their own dreams and delusions.
To date they have created six shows: El carnaval de los animales, Pareidolia, Nómadas, Delirios de papel, L@s niñ@s del Winnipeg and Bestiario. These works have captivated the most diverse audiences in theaters and festivals in 17 countries: Spain, Turkey, Bosnia, Holland, Brazil, Argentina, Taiwan, Costa Rica, United States, Belgium, Bolivia, Venezuela, Colombia, Uruguay, Mexico, Panama and Chile.
La Llave Maestra has become one of the leading companies in Chile in Visual and Object Theater, thanks to its careful scenic language and its particular artistic universe, which allows its shows to be enjoyed equally by all audiences. In parallel, La Llave Maestra has directed, created and designed theater, circus, opera and dance shows for several companies in Chile and Spain, such as Teatro del Lago, El Circo del Mundo, Circustanzia among others.

Celebrating its 15 years of trajectory, La Llave Maestra company arrives at the Teatro a Mil International Festival 2025 with this visual and sensory show, where the spectator is invited to be surprised and laugh with the constant games of transformation and illusionism on stage.
Pareidolia is the ability of the mind to recognize concrete figures in abstract shapes, such as when we look at clouds, stains on the wall, or the grain of wood. When things are not what they seem, when you look closely and a jacket turns into a singer, a tutu into an ostrich, a piece of plastic into a volcano.
In this work of La Llave Maestra, bodies are in continuous transformation, the simplest materials come to life, like plastic seas that dance like giant waves. A poetic and comic universe that remains waiting in our daily lives to be discovered. A journey into the imagination without words where you only need to playfully observe the things around us to discover their stories.
